Attending a Zenjo Retreat is SO MUCH MORE than just a few days away tangling. We very thoughtfully design our program to strike the perfect balance between fellowship and art. A Zenjo retreat is equally about strengthening your tangle friendships as well as your tangling skills!
Over the course of the retreat, you'll be presented with 9 classes from top notch CZT instructors, all of which celebrate the core principles of Zentangle while adding just enough ZIA "zing" to make things fun. Each class will challenge you to learn new things and at the same time be achievable to completion within the provided time - no homework at a Zenjo retreat!
In addition to all the great tangle classes, you can look forward to a Ceilidh (traditional Scottish folkdance) AND an included fieldtrip to tour a local distillery.
You're guaranteed to come away from the weekend with new friends and feeling both relaxed and inspired!
This event is open to ALL TANGLERS and is not restricted to CZTs.

Your Retreat registration INCLUDES your accommodation for three nights in a single room. You can book additional shoulder nights directly with the hotel at a discounted rate.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Your £200 deposit is fully refundable up to May 1st 2025. Cancellations after May 1st 2025 and before July 1st 2025 will be refundable minus the deposit. Cancellations after July 1st are not refundable. In all cases, if your place is taken by someone on the waiting list your entire registration fee will be refunded including your deposit.
Video packages with materials kits can be cancelled and refunded until August 1st 2025.

Joanna is an experienced Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT 29, 36, & 37) from mid Wales, in the UK. She has been teaching Zentangle regularly since 2017. Jo has run in-person classes in the UK, Rome, Greece, India, Ireland and the USA and now regularly teaches interactive online Zentangle classes to students from all over the world. Jo has been running the popular online Zenjo Tangle Club since April 2020 and welcomes students from all over the world.
Darcy Ellarby (CZT36) lives in Burnsville Minnesota and has been drawing in the Zentangle Method since early 2017. She is a Certified Zentangle Instructor and teaches both online via Zoom and in person in the Minneapolis and St. Paul Minnesota metro area. Darcy and Joanna have been partners in running Zenjo Events since 2019.
Yvonne Westover is a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT 13) who embarked on her Zentangle journey in 2012. With a degree in Fine Art and a lifelong dedication to the creative process, Yvonne turned to Zentangle as a therapeutic practice after experiencing a brain injury in 2017. Her travels around the world inspire her drawings, infusing each piece with unique perspectives and experiences.
Curiosity and creativity shapes Martina's life. She was born and raised in Liechtenstein, and now lives in Switzerland. She began her career as a primary school teacher, journalist, and news editor for various radio stations. Today, she works as a special education teacher and expert in gifted education. She is as member of the class of CZT22.
Robin Kellogg (CZT 39) joyfully arrived at the first Zenjo Retreat in Wisconsin and asked the question, “What is Tangle Club?”. Met with gasps, Robin learned that it was an extraordinary group of people creating beautiful images by drawing structured patterns, and she was hooked. Robin lives in Maple Grove, MN and can’t wait to join you in Scotland.
