The technique of using Prismacolor pencils to build up layers of colour to add depth and shine.
How to add sparkle and "flaws" to bring a vibrant reality to your gems.
How to frame and enhance your gems with black and white tangling.

PREREQUISITES
Beginner with experience to Intermediate
Students should have undertaken an Introduction to Zentangle class or have some experience of creating basic tangles.
Please make sure that you are familiar with the tangles Diva Dance Rock & Roll, Printemps (weighted version)

MATERIALS REQUIRED:
- Black Sakura Micron PN or Micron 01 pen
- 2B graphite pencil
- Tortillon
- White Sakura Gellyroll 10 (You can use a Gellyroll 08 or alternative brand)
- White 3.5” Zentangle Tiles or hand-cut Fabriano Tiepolo paper.
- Selection of Prismacolor Premier or Faber Castell Polychromos pencils in graduating shades, including white.
We will be using graduating shades (dark to light) of the same colour (3 pencils) plus a different or contrasting colour
for each gem.
